An optional Headmaster battery pack allows you to pump beer for up to four hours without electricity and without recharging.

The Headmaster is an ideal tap for parties and one day events. By using this tap, you are pumping oxygen into the keg. Oxygen causes beer to go flat very rapidly. The keg will usually only stay fresh for a day or two at the most. This tap is not to be used to keep beer fresh for any great length of time. To keep beer fresher longer, a CO2 system should be used.
